COVID19 Updates and Policy

 We have spend a lot of time and a huge amount of money on making the salon as safe as possible for us to reopen. Below is some changes we have made and what we will be requiring from you when you book\arrive for your appointment.

  • Booking must be made over the phone/email or via social media. The salon will not be allowing walk ins or to book in person.
  • We have introduced a cancellation fee due to the demand, if an appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours a fee of 50% of the value will be applied to your account. This must be paid before another appointment can be booked. 
  • When you come for your appointment we ask you bring as little as possible, we do not have storage for coats/jackets and we ask you to bring just purse or wallet if you can. Bags will be given to those who bring personal items. 
  • Please do not arrive more than 5 mins before your appointment, you will be asked to wait outside until we are ready for you.
  • You must attend your appointment alone, there will be no waiting area, if you’re coming from the same household you may still be asked to wait outside until a work station becomes available. 
  • When you arrive at the salon the door will be locked, please ring the bell to your left to gain access.
  • Upon arrival your temperature will be taken, you will be provided with a 3ply mask and disposable PPE to wear for your appointment, You will also be given a questionnaire to fill in.  This is part of our new policy and is not negotiable.
  • We have removed all reading materials and iPads from the salon to avoid cross contamination, Please bring your own if you require something to read.
  • We ask that you do not walk around the salon or approach the reception desk during your appointment. The bathroom will be open through the 2 doorways to the left. 
  • We will not be serving any drinks hot or cold for a while, you may bring your own but you must take it away with you when you leave the salon.
  • Due to the increase costs there will be a small surcharge per appointment to cover the cost of the extra PPE items we have to provide.

Salon Update

During lockdown the salon staff have spent time completing Covid awareness, Cross contamination and Health & safety courses to give us the best head start to reopening. On completing our COVID19 Risk Assessment we have made some changes to the salon layout to maximise space and to avoid cross contamination.

This means we now have 3 chairs instead of 5 giving us a safer work space, Screens have been erected to divide stations safely. We have added extra bins around the salon for specifics such as PPE and possible contaminated items. Signs around the salon are there to guilde you and inform you of changes to our regular practice.

Any client displaying a high temperature will be asked to reschedule their appointment for 14 days time, once inside the salon a questionnaire will be given to you and filled in, if you answer any questions that shows you may be at risk your appointment will have to be rescheduled.
